The 15 times table is the sequence 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, 135, 150, 165, 180 — each number is 15 more than the one before. The quickest way to multiply by 15 is to multiply the number by 10, halve that result, and add the two together: for example, 15 × 6 = 60 + 30 = 90. Children usually meet the 15 times table after mastering the tables to 12, and it is especially useful for telling time (quarter hours) and working with money and percentages.
In fact, the multiplication table to 15 is the multiplication table to 10 plus 5 columns (and 5 rows) of multiples of 11 to multiples of 15.
